Why Do Car Brakes Need Regular Maintenance?

Rotors get damaged from the brake pads wearing down because there is a lot of heat and friction every time you step on the brake pedal. Air can get in the brake lines, or other components in your brake system are damaged or they begin to wear down. With regular maintenance, you can extend the life of your vehicle and all its parts and systems. Brake service begins with periodic inspections on the brakes. Our technicians will perform an inspection to determine the condition of your brakes and will provide a written estimate based on what they discover.

Brake Services Offered

• Thorough brake inspection: It all begins with an inspection to discover what is wrong with your brakes.
• Pad replacement: If the pads are worn down, our technicians will replace them to ensure you have stopping power.
• Rotor service: When your pads are replaced, our technicians will smooth out the areas where the worn pads have begun to damage your rotors, or if necessary, will replace your rotors.
• Shoe replacement: In drum systems, the pads are called shoes, so this applies to drum systems only.
• Drum service: Same as rotor service, only this applies to drum systems only.
• Fluid service: Flushing and replacing old brake fluid and repairing any fluid leaks.
• ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) service: Whether it is damaged ABS sensors or problems with the computer module, our technicians can take care of the issue.
• General brake repairs: For all components of your brake system from power brake booster to brake assembly.
